Með Misbrigðum vinna nemendur á öðru ári í fatahönnun við Listaháskóla Íslands í samstarfi við Fatasöfnun Rauða Kross Íslands. Hver nemandi gerir eigin fatalínu með áherslu á persónulega sýn og vinnur þrjá alklæðnaði úr notuðum fatnaði og textíl. Með verkefninu fá nemendur djúpa innsýn og skilning á áhrifum fataiðnaðarins á samfélög og umhverfi auk þess að þau kynnast rannsóknarvinnu og taka þátt í rannsóknarteymi. Skoðaðar eru ólíkar miðlunarleiðir sem fatahönnuðir geta nýtt sér, m.a. miðlun á samfélagsmiðlum, með innsetningum og hönnunarsýningum.

With this project, students in the second year in Fashion Design at Iceland University of the Arts collaborate with the Icelandic Red Cross clothing collection. Each student works on a fashion line, emphasizing their personal vision where the final result is three whole outfits made only from recycled textiles and garments. The project allows students to gain serious insight and understanding of the effect the clothing industry has on societies and the environment, as well as learning about different researching methods and collaborative research. Students look at different ways fashion designers can mediate their work, for example using social media, installation and exhibitions.
