KLARA KALISNIK
The main word to describe this collection is surrealism. I have always been inspired by artists from different art movements and periods throughout history. Surrealism balances a rational vision of life and dreams. This is what inspired me to take a look at the human body and think about how to change it into something that would transpire into dreams. The collection evokes playfulness and childlike feelings, which take you to the time when you are a child and everything you dream is possible. This was never going to be a serious collection. It was meant to conjure the child's world where fantasy becomes reality and reality becomes fantasy.

Megin orðið til að lýsa þessari línu er súrrealismi. Ég hef alltaf verið innblásin af listamönnum úr mismunandi listastefnum og tímabilum í gegnum söguna. Súrrealismi kemur jafnvægi á líf og draumi. Þetta er það sem veitti mér innblástur til að horfa á mannslíkaman og hugsa hvernig hægt væri að breyta honum í eitthvað sem myndi ummbreytast í draumi. Línan kallar fram glettni og barnslega tilfinningu, sem tekur þig til þess tíma sem barn og allt sem þig dreymir um er mögulegt. Þessi lína átti aldrei að vera alvarleg. Það átti að kalla fram heim barna þar sem fantasía verður að raunveruleika og raunveruleiki verður að fantasíu.
